This guide walks you through quickly adding products to your catalog. You can also configure advanced product information to use features such as discounting your products and setting up inventory.<\/p>\n<div class=\"many-open all-closed\">\n<h3 class=\"display\" title=\"addproduct\"><a title=\"enabling\" href=\"https:\/\/www.secureserver.net\/help\/article\/5361?prog_id=Ifindhost&amp;pl_id=114494&amp;isc=domsite#enabling\">Adding Products<\/a><\/h3>\n<div class=\"stretcher\">\n<p>You can quickly add products to your catalog using the basic information required for you to start selling online.<\/p>\n<h4>To Add a Product<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your IFindHost &#8211; CheapDomainRegistration.com account.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Quick Shopping Cart<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the\u00a0<strong>Quick Shopping Cart<\/strong>\u00a0list, click\u00a0<strong>Manage<\/strong>\u00a0next to the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to use.<\/li>\n<li>From the\u00a0<strong>Manage<\/strong>\u00a0menu, in the\u00a0<strong>Catalog<\/strong>\u00a0section, click\u00a0<strong>Add Product<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If the\u00a0<strong>Product Type<\/strong>\u00a0message window displays, select\u00a0<strong>Don&#8217;t show this message again<\/strong>, and then click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Title<\/strong>, enter a name for your product.<\/li>\n<li>From the\u00a0<strong>Product type<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down menu, select one of the following:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Standalone<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Contains basic product functionality and fits most products.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Downloadable<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you sell digital files as products.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Configurable<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you configure products with multiple variations and options. (For example, selling T-shirts in multiple colors and sizes.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bundle<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you bundle your product with other products in your catalog.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>To add images to your product, click either of the following:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Select an image<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you select images uploaded to the Media Gallery.\n<ul>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>One-Image<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Multi-Image<\/strong>, drag and drop images on top of the\u00a0<strong>Click &amp; drag image here<\/strong>\u00a0thumbnails, and then click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Upload New<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you upload new images from your computer.\n<ul>\n<li>Select an image file to upload, and then click\u00a0<strong>Open<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Price ($)<\/strong>, enter the price you want to charge customers for your product.<\/li>\n<li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Item #\/SKU<\/strong>, enter an item number for your product which will identify it for inventory and invoices.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to charge taxes on your product, select\u00a0<strong>Item is taxable<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Full Description<\/strong>, enter a description for your product.<\/li>\n<li>If you want the description you entered to display as your product&#8217;s short description on your storefront, select\u00a0<strong>Use this description as short description<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><i>Optional:<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0If you selected\u00a0<strong>Downloadable<\/strong>\u00a0for your\u00a0<strong>Product Type<\/strong>, do the following:\n<ul>\n<li>In the\u00a0<strong>Downloadable Settings<\/strong>\u00a0section, click\u00a0<strong>Upload New<\/strong>, select a file to upload, and then click\u00a0<strong>Open<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to limit the number times customers can download your product and the period of time it&#8217;s available for download, select\u00a0<strong>Limit download number<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Limit download time<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><i>Optional:<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0If you selected\u00a0<strong>Configurable<\/strong>\u00a0for your\u00a0<strong>Product Type<\/strong>, do the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Click the\u00a0<strong>Options<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/li>\n<li>In the\u00a0<strong>Configurable Options<\/strong>\u00a0section, from the\u00a0<strong>Available Options<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down menu, select an option, and then click\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>After selecting option choices, click\u00a0<strong>Generate Grid<\/strong>, and then click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>. Advanced product information includes features such as discounting your products, setting up inventory, and setting up Google Product Search.<\/p>\n<h4>To Configure Advanced Product Information<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your IFindHost &#8211; CheapDomainRegistration.com account.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Quick Shopping Cart<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the\u00a0<strong>Quick Shopping Cart<\/strong>\u00a0list, click\u00a0<strong>Manage<\/strong>\u00a0next to the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to use.<\/li>\n<li>From the\u00a0<strong>Manage<\/strong>\u00a0menu, in the\u00a0<strong>Catalog<\/strong>\u00a0section, click\u00a0<strong>Products<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click one of your product names to edit, and then select any of the following tabs:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Images<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you update product images.\n<ul>\n<li>If you want to update your product images, click\u00a0<strong>Media Gallery<\/strong>, and then do the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>One-Image<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Multi-Image<\/strong>, drag and drop images on top of the\u00a0<strong>Click &amp; drag image here<\/strong>thumbnails, and then click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you want to display text when customers mouse over your images, next to\u00a0<strong>Image Alternate Test<\/strong>, enter the text you want to display.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re finished configuring your product, click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advanced Pricing<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you set up limited time discounts on products or discounts for customers buying in bulk.\n<ul>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>If you want to set up discounts for a limited time, in the\u00a0<strong>Sales Prices<\/strong>\u00a0section, click\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong>, and then do the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Enter either a\u00a0<strong>Sale Price<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Percentage Discount<\/strong>amount, and then enter a\u00a0<strong>Start Date<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>End Date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you want to set up discounts for customers buying in bulk, in the\u00a0<strong>Tiered Pricing<\/strong>\u00a0section, click\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong>, and the do the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Enter the\u00a0<strong>Minimum Quantity<\/strong>\u00a0amount, and then enter the discounted\u00a0<strong>Price<\/strong>\u00a0you want to charge customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re finished configuring your product, click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advanced Info\/Display<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you specify the condition of your product, add a manufacturer name, and change your product display.\n<ul>\n<li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Condition<\/strong>, select the type of condition your product is currently in.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to add a manufacturer name to your product, next to\u00a0<strong>Manufacturer<\/strong>, click\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong>, and then do the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Enter a manufacturer name, and then click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to enter an item number for the manufacturer, next to\u00a0<strong>Manufacturer&#8217;s #<\/strong>, enter the manufacturer&#8217;s item number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you want to list your product in the Featured Items sidebar on your storefront, in the\u00a0<strong>Display<\/strong>\u00a0section, select\u00a0<strong>Featured product<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to remove your product from your storefront, in the\u00a0<strong>Display<\/strong>\u00a0section, select\u00a0<strong>Hide<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to display your product in Google Product Search, in the\u00a0<strong>Display<\/strong>\u00a0section, select\u00a0<strong>Show in Google Product Search<\/strong>. For more information, see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.secureserver.net\/help\/article\/2919?prog_id=ifindhost&amp;locale=en\">Setting up Google Shopping with Quick Shopping Cart<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to enter the barcode identification numbers for any retail merchandise you sell, in the\u00a0<strong>Identification numbers<\/strong>\u00a0section, enter\u00a0<strong>UPC<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>ISBN<\/strong>, or\u00a0<strong>EAN<\/strong>\u00a0numbers.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re finished configuring your product, click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shipping\/Inventory<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you specify shipping preferences for your product and configure its inventory.\n<ul>\n<li>If you want to charge customers for shipping your product to them, select\u00a0<strong>Charge for shipping<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the\u00a0<strong>Shipping Type<\/strong>\u00a0section, select whether you want to ship your product via\u00a0<strong>Package<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Freight<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Enter the\u00a0<strong>Weight (pounds)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Length (inches)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Width (inches)<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Height (inches)<\/strong>\u00a0for your product.<\/li>\n<li>If you don&#8217;t want to box your product with other items, select\u00a0<strong>Ships in separate box<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you sell media items such as CDs, DVDs, and diskettes, select\u00a0<strong>Can ship as media mail<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to enable international shipping for your product, click\u00a0<strong>Enable international shipping<\/strong>. For more information, see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.secureserver.net\/help\/article\/4988?prog_id=ifindhost&amp;locale=en\">Enabling International Shipping with Quick Shopping Cart<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to enable inventory tracking for your product, in the\u00a0<strong>Inventory tracking<\/strong>\u00a0section, select\u00a0<strong>Yes<\/strong>, and then do the following:\n<ul>\n<li>To let customers order your product when it&#8217;s out-of-stock, select\u00a0<strong>Allow backorder<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Qty. available<\/strong>, enter the amount of your product you have available.<\/li>\n<li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Email if less than<\/strong>, enter the minimum inventory amount you want to have before you receive an email notifying it&#8217;s low.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you want to add a warehouse for drop shipping, next to\u00a0<strong>Warehouse<\/strong>, click\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong>.
