Start over (erase all content)

With our cPanel and Plesk shared hosting accounts (more info), you can easily start over with your hosting account. This permanently removes all of the content from your account and reverts it to a new account that still needs to be set up.

From Gateway, in the tile for the account you want to use, click Settings.
Go to the Reset Account tab.
Note: This feature is only available for cPanel and Plesk shared hosting accounts (more info).
Click Reset Account twice.

Next step

Now you need to set up your hosting account again (cPanel / Plesk)

Customers with SSL certificates

Warning: If you had an SSL certificate set up on your account, you must transfer it back to your hosting account after you finish setting the account back up.

Log in to your IFindHost – CheapDomainRegistration.com account.
Click SSL Certificates.
Next to the domain name you originally used, click Manage.
Click Transfer.
Click Transfer, and then click Transfer again.

Reset my password

You can reset your FTP or panel password in Gateway for the following types of accounts:

cPanel shared hosting
Parallels Plesk shared hosting

Reset the FTP/panel password

In the tile for the account you want to use, click Settings.
Click the Password tab.
Complete the on-screen fields, and then click Change Password.

Change my domain

You can change the domain name your account uses for the following types of hosting accounts:

Note: If you aren’t sure what kind of hosting you have, see this article.

In the tile for the account you want to use, click Settings.

Select one of the following based on the type of domain you want to use:

Type of domain	What to do…
Registered in same account	Select a domain from your account.
Registered in another account	Enter a domain or subdomain.
Subdomain of any type of domain	Enter a domain or subdomain.

Complete the on-screen fields, and then click Change Domain.

Gateway displays which kind of hosting or server you have in the bottom left corner of your account’s tile.

You can use this information to tell what kind of hosting or server you have:
